Nokia E7 Starts Shipping – Gorgeous Device, Software Still Sucks
I will be the first to say that Nokia makes absolutely GORGEOUS phones. The quality definitely rivals Apple. Yes, I said it.
The Nokia E7 is no exception. Just look at that thing, it’s like a piece of art work. Specs include:
- 4 inch AMOLED screen
- 8 megapixel camera
- 16GB onboard memory
- Aluminum body
- Slide out keyboard
It’s a beautiful thing on the outside, but too bad the inside is still running Symbian (operating system). The E7 is like a hot blond with no personality. Should you get this device? Absolutely not, because the software is horrible. However, do take a moment to appreciate and admire the hardware.
As a side note, sometimes I feel sadness for the engineers and designers at Nokia. All of the hard work and craftsmanship they put into building the phone, only to have the final product destroyed by terrible software. Pity.
But non the less always have been and will be a Nokia fan.
