Ovi Store officially renamed Nokia Store, no change to the address!

Nokia revealed earlier in the year that it was planning to gradually phase out the Ovi name and bring all its services under the Nokia banner, and you can see the latest step along the way by heading over to the Nokia Ovi Store now.
The Ovi name – the word is Finnish for “door” – has become a central part of our vocabularies over the past few years thanks to the likes of the Ovi Store and Ovi Maps.
But earlier this year Nokia took the decision to gradually phase the Ovi name out and gradually bring things back under the core Nokia umbrella.
We have to say it's a sensible decision, but with the Ovi brand so well entrenched in so many services and on so many devices around the planet, it's a change that's going to happen gradually – another decision we think is sensible.
And you can see the latest evidence of this gradual approach by heading over to the Nokia Ovi Store today. You'll notice the Ovi logo has been changed to a Nokia logo and the title bar now reads “Nokia Store”, though the core address remains unchanged at store.ovi.com.
Nokia is clearly allowing everyone time to get their heads around the idea of the change, plus there's the very real consideration of the actual services and software already on Nokia devices and the long-term strategy for updating them to the new naming convention.
You'll notice that here at NokNok we're using both names for the time being to avoid any confusion, so that when we talk about the Nokia Ovi Store all our readers everywhere know exactly what we mean!
What do you think of the latest step in the move from Ovi services to Nokia services? Had you even noticed this subtle change, and does it make any difference to you? Give us your thoughts in the Comments below.
